State Tug of War team leaves for Aurangabad

JAMMU, Jan 18: The Jammu & Kashmir Tug of War team left for Aurangabad, Maharashtra today to participate in the 28th Senior Men National Championships to be held on January 22 and January 23, 2016.
Earlier, the teams were selected by S.Hardeep Singh Anand, president of the Association, Jodh Singh Isher, secretary, Jasvir Singh, joint secretary, under the supervision of J&K Sports Council Screening Committee comprising of Shiv Kumar Sharma, joint secretary, Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu and Rashid Ahmad Choudhary.
The selected players include Hardeep Singh, Robin, Manik, Sourab, Vishal, Umair, Irfan, Mohammad Rafi, Mohd. Ishaq, Sachin, Tuseef, Mohd. Sayeed, Narinder Chib, Maheshwar, Santok Raj, Bipen Kumar, Peerzaida and Kamaldeep Singh
Ajay Kumar and Gorav Dubey are accompanying the teams as coaches and Saurab as manager.
Hardeep Singh Anand distributed kits among the players before their departure and the kits were sponsored by Trans Asia Hotels Pvt. Ltd. Unit Hotel Asia Jammu Tawi, Jammu.
