JAMMU, Feb 2: The screening committee of J&K State Sports Council cleared the State contingent of Under-19 boys and girls for its participation in the 23rd Junior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship to be held at Nagpur in Maharashtra from February 6 to February 9, 2016.
The selection trials were held at Green Field ground, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, which was followed by 7-days coaching camp from January 27 to February 2, 2016 at the same venue.
The teams will be accompanied by Mushtaq Turkey, Nazir Wani, Aradhana Malik and Summaya as coaches and managers.
The teams: Boys: Hitesh Singh (Captain,Pavit Singh Ishar, Mehran Farooq, Gourav Antil, Rohit Khajuria, Abhijeet Singh Bakshi, Musavir Imran, Muzaffar Hussain, Sheikh Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Aadil Gulzar, Peerzada Mudassir, Peerzada Fayaz Raroz, Kamran Iqbal and Peerzada Shadab Gull.
Girls: Heena Bhat (Captain), Bisma Hussain, Muskaan Bandral, Phool Kumari, Pushpa, Arshiya Bashir, Saiqa Hassan, Mehnaza Gull, Irfana Rashid, Fozia Nanda, Humyara Jan, Ifla Manzoor, Sonika Raina and Nida Shabir Sidiqui.
