State Power Lifting C’ship on July 17

JAMMU, May 25: J&K Sports Power Lifting Associ-ation held a meeting and decided to organize State Power Lifting Championship for men and women on July 17 at RKM Gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House, here.
According to Rajan Jain, General Secretary, J&K Sports Power Lifting Association, the championship is being organized to select the players for the forthcoming Senior-National Power Lifting Championship to be held at Milanee Hall, Jamshedpur, Tatanagar from September 7 to 11.
All the interested participants are invited for this championship to be held from 9 am onwards at the aforesaid venue. Body weighing will be taken on July 16 from 11 am to 1 pm at 3-A/C Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Narender Singh Manhas, Secretary of the Association and other members were also present in the meeting.
