State Bench-Press & Deadlift Powewrlifting C’ship inaugurated

JAMMU, Dec 5: J&K Sports Powerlifting Association organized State Bench-Press & Deadlift Powerlifting Championship (M&W) unequipped at RKM Gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House, here.
The Championship is being held to pick the team for the forthcoming National Bench-Press & Deadlift Powerlifting Championship to be held at Milanee Hall Jamshedpur (Tatanagar) from January 2 to January 4, 2016.
Over 200 players participated in this championship, which was inaugurated by Ch. Zulfakar Ali, Minister for CA&PD.
The chief guest was presented memento by the general secretary of the Association, Rajan Jain on the occasion as a token of gratitude from the organizers. Powerlifters from all over J&K including Kashmir and Ladakh  participated in the Championship.
Sidharth Sharma former Joint secretary of J&K State Sports Council was also present on the inaugural ceremony.
