JAMMU, Dec 12: St. Xavier Convent School, Barnai, celebrated its 28th Annual Day today with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu Zone, as the chief guest, and Ashok Kumar Sharma, Director of School Education, Haseeb Ur Rehman, DIG Railway J&K, and Hemant from St. Paul’s Church as guests of honour.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a speech from the Principal, Pankaj Vihans, who highlighted the school’s academic achievements and focus on holistic education. Awards were given to students excelling in academics, and the audience was treated to a series of cultural performances, including energetic drills, vibrant dances, and insightful skits.
Chief guest, Anand Jain, commended the students for their talents and praised the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals. Other dignitaries also encouraged students to excel in both academics and extracurricular activities.
Awards were presented to the winners of the recent Sports Day events, further emphasizing the school’s focus on physical fitness. The event concluded with the Vice Principal expressing gratitude to the guests, teachers, parents, and students for their continued support. The 28th Annual Day was a celebration of the school’s achievements and the students’ hard work and talents.
