KATHUA, June 4: The students of St Annie Convent School Basohli brought laurels to the district by winning 13 medals in All India Karate Championship held recently at Amritsar.
The children from various schools of different States/UTs participated in the Karate Championship in north India event. The students from St Annie Convent Schools led by their coach Sunil Kumar defeated their opponents and won 13 medals including five silver medals and eight bronze. The event was organized under the supervision of All India Director, Combat Advance Marshal Art Training Association, Dr Pardeep Sharma.
The School Principal felicitated the children after reaching Basohli. He said that these students have brought laurels to Basohli Sub Division and district Kathua.
