SRINAGAR, Dec 5: The District Srinagar Ball Badminton Association, in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association, is set to conduct the My Youth My Pride District Srinagar Ball Badminton Championship for Boys and Girls 2025-26. The event, held under the My Youth My Pride initiative of the J&K Sports Council, aims to promote sports at the grassroots level and provide a competitive platform for young talent.
The two-day championship, sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, will take place at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh (Srinagar) from December 14 to 15, 2025. Competitions will be held across all age categories-Mini, Sub Junior, Junior, Youth and Senior. All clubs, schools, institutions and colleges in Srinagar are invited to submit their entries via WhatsApp or SMS at 9682365877 before December 13, 2025. The organisers have clarified that no on-spot entries will be accepted.
Matches will be conducted as per the rules of the Ball Badminton Federation of India. The draw of fixtures will be held on December 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at the venue. Outstanding players from this championship will be shortlisted for participation in the upcoming UT-level championship.
