SRINAGAR, July 2: The Srinagar District Ranking Roller Skating Championship, organized by J&K Roller Skating Association under patronage of G.S. Khurmi, concluded at the Rajbagh Skating Rink. The event saw enthusiastic participation from young skaters across the district, showcasing exceptional talent, discipline and sportsmanship.
In the (6-8 years) girls’ category, Irsa clinched 1st place, followed by Mustaqeem in 2nd, while Tahif and Harsimarth Singh shared 3rd. In the boys’ section, Mohammad Zaeen took 1st, Mehran Wani secured 2nd and Mohammad Hasnain and Abu-Bakar tied for 3rd.
In (8-10 years) girls, Masha Waseem won 1st, Obrea Arif 2nd and Aleeza Irshad 3rd. In the inline category, Ileema Nagash secured 1st and Khadijah Javaid 2nd. In Quads boys (8-10 years), Naisha Varma took 1st, Shivanya 2nd and Aniya 3rd. Bisma Tahir secured 1st in the inline boys’ category.
Among (8-10 years) Quads girls, Aisha Wani came 1st, Aroosha 2nd, and Hiaba Binta Sajad 3rd. In (10-12 years) girls, Zunaira stood 1st, Ebraha 2nd, and Usmaa 3rd. In boys, Ibrahim Pindu and Syed Mohammad Irham tied for 1st, Huriaksh and Ayaan shared 2nd, while Hamza Qaadi placed 3rd.
In the (12-15 years) girls’ category, Madiya and Aleena tied for 1st, Aadhia Mishra and Armeen Shaikh shared 2nd, while Sakeena Sajad and Hurriya finished 3rd. Among boys, Mohammad Affan Andrabi secured 1st and Syed Abdullah bin Wusloen 2nd. In the senior girls’ division, Qurat won 1st, Qubraa came 2nd and Aliza finished 3rd. The J&K Roller Skating Association congratulated all medallists and participants for their remarkable efforts.
