JAMMU, Jan 11: The SR College of Competitions, State’s top IAS/ KAS Academy today organised a comprehensive workshop of CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test), the preliminary test conducted by the UPSC for the IAS aspirants in the country.
The workshop was conducted by senior and regular faculty of the College, Vivek Sharma, who has over 15 years of experience in aptitude training.
The workshop covered the game changing effect of CSAT as a test component wherein trainer deliberated on the power of assumptions in making mathematical questions easy. “The overall importance of the need to develop aptitude was also discussed,” informed Vivek Sharma.
Mr Sharma urged the participants to not take any chances and remain ready with aptitude preparation as the select committee looking into the examination pattern of IAS may decide to increase the aptitude qualifying percentage any time.
“The two-hour long workshop attracted a healthy participation from the young IAS aspirants from the State, who evinced keen interest in the deliberations took part in the training session,” said Director of the SR College, Parveen Sharma.
