JAMMU, Feb 8: Springdales School, Barnai, Jammu, organized the Dual Lit Fusion Quiz, drawing enthusiastic participants from several reputed CBSE schools of the region.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge, followed by a melodious welcome song by the school choir. Principal Surinder Singh Pathania welcomed the guests and participants, highlighting the importance of literary excellence and bilingual learning. The programme was graced by chief guest Prof. Sharat Chander Sharma and guest of honour Geetika Kohli.
The quiz featured a stimulating mix of English and Hindi literature questions, testing literary acumen, analytical skills and linguistic proficiency. After a keen contest, Stephens International Public School secured first place, while Springdales School, Barnai and Vishwa Bharti Higher Secondary School claimed second and third positions. The programme concluded with a Dogri folk song, felicitation of dignitaries, and the National Anthem.
