Sports event ‘JAZBA-Face of Youth’ concludes

JAMMU, Apr 26: A week long sports event titled “JAZBA-The Face of Youth” concluded here today.
On the concluding day, a prize distribution ceremony was organized in which the prizes were distributed among the winners of various sports events held during the week long activities.
In Chess, Table Tennis, Carrom, Pranjalee (girls) and Yuvraj (boys), Sahil Sharma (T.T), Pallavi and Faryal and Lilly and Anil were adjudged winners respectively. These events were coordinated by Virender Singh. Areca was adjudged as winner in Poster Making and Salad Making whereas in Rangoli, Narinder Kour, Khayati Aggarwal and Akashna were adjudged as winners. These events were coordinated by Rashi, Kirti Salgotra and Silky Sharma.
In Tug of War, Kho-Kho category, JIAR prof I and JIAR prof II were adjudged as winners respectively. These events were coordinated by Renu Jolly and Manish Dhar.
In Sac Race and Lemon Race, Stanzen and Ridhima were adjudged as winners.
These events were coordinated by Jyotsna Sudan and  Neeraj Kumar.
In Cricket JIAR Mighties (girls) and Ayurveda Tigers (boys) were adjudged as winners whereas Pallavi Sharma was declared as girl of the match and Arun was declared as the man of the match and man of the series respectively.
Suman Sharma, Chairperson of Sain Charitable Trust were the chief guest whereas Ravish Sharma was the guest of honour.
Among other dignitaries present were Dr Nitin Mahajan,  Japna Sharma, Jasuda Sharma, Sunita Magotra and Nusrat Khan.
The Programme was compared by Payal Koul and Prateek Pandit, while the vote of thanks was presented by Rashi Abrol.
