Sports Conclave enters final stage at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: The ongoing Sports conclave at Mini Stadium, Udhampur, organized by IRP 24th Battalion in collaboration with District Youth Services & Sports Department, witnessed enthusiastic participation. In volleyball semifinals, UVC defeated CVC by 2-0, while Fusion Club beat Chopra Shop Volleyball Club by 2-0 to reach the finals. The matches were officiated by Sanjay Sharma, Naveen Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Rajesh Sharma and Sanjeev Verma.
Simultaneously, badminton matches featured players including Manik Nargotra, Ashutosh Gupta, Deepak Sharma, Shubham Kerni, Vickey Sharma, Jyoti Sharma and Nitika Sharma. Certified officials supervised the games.
The event recorded a total participation of 124 athletes and was attended by community members Sanjay Kotwal, Suresh Pal, Jatin Sethi and Sanjeev Khajuria. This conclave, part of Jammu & Kashmir Police’s Civil Action Programme (CAP), aims to engage youth positively and promote fitness, teamwork and resilience.
