JAMMU, Apr 17: MLA RS Pura and Political Advisor to State BJP president, Dr Gagan Bhagat along with SSP Jammu, Dr Sunil Gupta, SP (HQ) Ramesh Kotwal and SHO RS Pura, Harish Dayama distributed prizes among the youths who participated in the Cricket tournament held at RS Pura in the PVC Bana Singh Stadium by the Jammu & Kashmir District Police under the Civic Action Programme.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Gagan appreciated the efforts of the Jammu & Kashmir Police for promoting sports among youths, especially in RS Pura.
As a medico he knew the ill effects of the drugs in the mind and the body of the person.
Earlier, Diamond Cricket Club Simbal Camp trounced RS Pura Press and Media Club by 2 wickets in a thrilling contest and lifted the JKP T20 Cup. Dr Bhagat, Dr Gupta and Ramesh Kotwal distributed trophies and medals among the winners and runners-up teams along with cash prizes.
