SPMR Commerce College, GDC Billawar among winners on day-2

JAMMU, Dec 9: SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu and Government Degree College Billawar were among the winners on day-2 of the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Championship, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
SPMR College of Commerce defeated GDC Samba by 5 points (24-19), while  GDC Billawar got better of New Age College Phinter by 42 points (55-13).
In other matches, GGM Science College prevailed over GDC Poonch by 30 points ( 56-26),  GDC Akhnoor outplayed GDC Udhampur by 31 points (67-36), GDC Paloura trounced GDC  Surankot by 23 points (37-14) and GDC Kathua drubbed MAM College by 1 point (16-15) in a tough contest.
The matches were officiated by Anil Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Harpreet Singh, Ankush Sarma, Keshav Singh, Gagan Kumar and Amandeep Singh.
The tournament is being conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
