REASI, May 1: In an inspiring speech intended to promote academic excellence and cultivate aspirations towards civil services, including the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS), J&K Administrative Service (JKAS), and other pertinent positions, S. S. Sodhi, Pro Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Katra, motivated students and staff.
He shared personal anecdotes from his student days and emphasized the sense of belongingness and love for the institution. Highlighting the importance of dedication, perseverance, and a strong work ethic, Sodhi said that education is a transformative tool that empowers individuals to make meaningful contributions to society. He urged students to set ambitious yet achievable goals, emphasizing the value of being focused, goal-oriented, and carving a meaningful purpose in life.
Sodhi stressed the nobility of service inherent in civil servants and urged students to consider a career in civil services, where they can contribute to the nation’s overall development and welfare.
