REASI, Mar 16: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Sports Coach Balbir Singh has successfully completed the National Certification Course in Sports Coaching in Kabaddi. The prestigious programme was conducted at the Sports Authority of India’s Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports (NS NIS) Southern Centre, Bengaluru, under the Mass Sports Participation Programme. The course witnessed participation from selected coaches representing various states and Union Territories. Balbir Singh demonstrated commendable technical knowledge and tactical understanding during the training. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pragati Kumar appreciated the achievement, stating that such certifications strengthen the university’s efforts to promote traditional sports and holistic student development.
