JAMMU/SRINAGAR, Nov 16: SMVD Jammu and DPS Srinagar lifted the Asmita Basketball League titles in their respective cities after commanding performances in the finals.
In Jammu, the experienced SMVD women displayed superior offence and defence, dominating STC from the start and finishing with a convincing by 60-32 victory. The match was officiated by Harpreet Singh, Vaneet Pangotra and Rajesh Bandral.
In Srinagar, DPS outclassed Silent Buckets to claim the Championship, showcasing disciplined team play and tactical brilliance throughout the contest. Prominent attendees at the Jammu final included Rajeev Sharma, President, Tennis Court Federation of India; Javid ul Rehman and Iqbal Singh, SO JKSC; along with coaches and staff of SAI and JKSC and office bearers of JKBA.
