SKK, Gian Devi Jandial Trust felicitate Divyang toppers with cash awards

JAMMU, June 6: Samaj Kalyan Kendra (SKK), in collaboration with the Gian Devi Jandial Memorial Public Trust, felicitated toppers of the School for Hearing Handicapped for their outstanding performance in the 2025 BOSE exams.
Karanjeet Singh (12th, 77.2%) received an Rs 4000 cash award from SKK and Rs 2500 from the Trust. Damini (11th, 83.2%) received Rs 3500 from SKK and Rs 2000 from the Trust. Nishant Kumar (10th, 70.7%) was awarded Rs 2500 and Rs 1000 respectively. SKK also honoured six other meritorious Divyang students.
KB Jandial, President SKK and Trustee of the Trust, praised the students, parents and teachers for their dedication and announced teacher awards from this year. He also encouraged higher education with 50% semester fee reimbursement. Advisors Prem Gupta and M.L. Kachroo presented additional awards and stationery. The event was conducted by Principal Roshan Bhan, with sign language interpretation by Seema.
