Six players selected for GO National Games

JAMMU, Nov 18: The J&K Sports Speed Ball Association announced that six players from Jammu and Kashmir have been selected for the GO National Games, scheduled from November 21 to 25 in Puri, Odisha. The event is being organised by the Indo Amateur Go Association India, affiliated with the International Go Federation, Japan, with participation from over 15 States.
The players were selected by Sunny Nanda, General Secretary of the J&K Sports Speed Ball Association and Assistant Director, Special Olympics Bharat (JKUT). Selected in the Sub-Junior Category are: Sakib Hussain (SD Tara Puri High School), Rudhar Sharma, Kuvam Singh, Aryan Thappa, Nikhil Kumar and Bilbir Singh—all from Dogra Higher Secondary School. Devashish will serve as the team incharge.
Neeru Puri, Principal, SD Tara Puri High School, conveyed her best wishes to the team, while Ganesh Dass, Headmaster, Dogra Higher Secondary School, distributed sports kits and encouraged the players to excel at the national event.
