JAMMU, Nov 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, scheduled to commence from November 26. The team will be led by experienced batter Shubham Khajuria, with Kanhaiya Wadhawan named as the vice-captain.
The squad comprises a blend of seasoned campaigners and promising young talent, including Qamran Iqbal, Vivrant Sharma, Musaif Aijaz, Abdul Samad, Yawar Hassan, Abid Mushtaq, Vanshaj Sharma, Ashwin Murugan, Yudhvir Singh, Aquib Nabi, Umran Malik, Nasir Lone and Sunil Kumar.
Former international cricketer Ajay Sharma will accompany the team as Head Coach, bringing his vast experience and expertise to guide the players through the high-intensity tournament.
JKCA officials expressed confidence that the squad, under Khajuria’s leadership, will showcase skill, teamwork, and competitive spirit in India’s premier domestic T20 competition.
