RAMBAN, Oct 4: Shining Sangaldan outclassed Royal Rajputs and lifted the title trophy of the Kabaddi Tournament, organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Sadbhavana initiative at Government Higher Secondary School, here.
A total of 20 teams participated in the tournament.
Earlier, Shining Sangaldan and Royal Rajputs defeated Thakur Boys and Balaut Bulls respectively in semifinals matches.
Cash prizes alongwith trophy was presented to winner and runner-up teams and medals were also given to each participant.
Speaking on the occasion, Durga Das, Principal, GHSS Ramban said that the tournament has been a huge success in terms of unearthing the talent of youth from remote areas and channelizing their energy in the constructive field of sports and motivated youth of the region to participate in all possible sports activities as the opportunity comes. The final match was also attended by the various prominent persons and civilian dignitaries.
