JAMMU, June 10: Executive Body of Jammu District Gymnastics Association was constituted here today following a general body meeting of the ad-hoc committee which included former international and national medalist gymnasts.
In a unanimous decision, Shilpa Gupta, Trustee SP Smart Schools chain and a former National Medalist was elected as president of the Association.
Other office bearers of the Association elected on this occasion included vice presidents, Sanjeev Dogra and Harvinder Singh; general secretaries, Surinder Pal Singh and Rahul Saadria; joint secretaries, Vivek Sharma and Ruhi Saadria and the executive members were Snigdha Singh, Dr. Ravia Verma, Sudipti, Lalit Rathore, Stuti Gupta and Akhil Jamwal.
After being elected as president of the Association, Shilpa reaffirmed her dedication to the growth and promotion of gymnastics across Jammu district, encouraging active participation of clubs and educational institutions in this dynamic discipline.
With the consent of executive members, she appointed Kamal Singh and Manvinder Singh as Heads of the Technical Committee of Artisty & Aerobic Gymnastics respectively to supervise the technical aspects of Association’s activities.
