JAMMU, Nov 28: The 5th Annual Day celebration of Shemrock Elites School with theme “Daddy’s Day Out” at Rama Krishna Mission was a grand success today, showcasing a vibrant mix of talent, creativity, and achievements.
The event was graced by the presence of chief guests Swami Yajnadharanananda (secretary, Rama Krishna Mission, Jammu) and Colonel Abhishek Singh (Commanding Officer). Guest of honor was Swami Vijayeshananda (Medical Centre Incharge).
Rajneesh Gupta, Managing Director of the School, also graced the occasion. Various other dignitaries, faculty members, parents and students also attended the function.
The function commenced with a divine dance of Ganesh Vandhana and welcome song by the students. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was held which symbolized knowledge and enlightenment. This was followed by the welcome speech by Principal Neerja Koul highlighting the importance of fathers in their children life.
The cultural extravaganza featured mesmerizing performances, including song and dance performances related to bond of father and children. A special presentation was ‘Punjabi Bhangra’ by the students of the school.
On the occasion, outstanding students and staff were honored for their excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and contributions, to the institution.
In his address, the chief guest encouraged students and staff to continue striving for excellence. He emphasized the importance of holistic development.
