UDHAMPUR, June 19: Wrestler Shamsher of Dinanagar Punjab outplayed wrestler Rakesh of Baggan, Billawar, district Kathua and lifted the title of wrestling competition, organized by Baba Vasuki Nag Devta Committee at Basantgarh.
On the occasion, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Basantgarh Kewal Krishan was the chief guest, who presented cash prize of Rs 13,000 to wrestler Shamsher.
Baldev Singh from Baba Vasuki Nag Devta Committee, SDPO Ramnagar Deepak Digra, Assistant Commandant CRPF Vinod, Naib Tehsildar and SHO Basantgarh were also present.
A total of 30 wrestlers took part in competition, which was witnessed by thousands of people including sports lovers.
