POONCH, Mar 27: The 1st Edition of the Shaheed Manjeet Singh Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament commenced today, organized by Poonch Police under the Civic Action Programme. The tournament, held in collaboration with the Youth Services and Sports Department Poonch, honours the memory of Shaheed DySP Manjeet Singh.
The opening ceremony was witnessed by a large gathering to commemorate the bravery and service of DySP Manjeet Singh. SSP Poonch, Shafkat Hussain, along with senior police officers, including Addl. SP and SP Operations, Poonch, inaugurated the event. This tournament serves as a platform for local talent to showcase their cricketing skills while paying tribute to the martyr.
