Shaheed Manjeet Club to take on Raman Club in summit clash

UDHAMPUR, May 1: Defeating their rivals convincingly in the semi-final clashes today, Shaheed Manjeet Singh Volleyball Club, Poonch and Raman Volleyball Club, Billawar have made it to the finals of the 3rd Police Martyrs Memorial Volleyball Tournament and will be locking horns against each other in the summit clash tomorrow
Earlier, in the first semi-final, Shaheed Manjeet Singh Volleyball Club Poonch trounced JKP Volleyball team easily by (3-1) sets (25-18, 25-17, 24-26 and 25-19) and sealed berth in the finals.
Meanwhile, in the second semi-final, Raman Volleyball Club, Billawar defeated Ramban Volleyball Club by 3:0 (25-13, 25-17 and 25-12) and booked a place in final. match.
The matches were officiated by Ashok Kumar, Manik Nargotra, Kuldeep Sharma Amit Sharma, Shashi Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Sanjeev Verma and Sanjay Sharma.
Earlier, in the morning session, JKP defeated Baramulla and Ramban Volleyball Club trounced Volleyball Club Udhampur to sail into the semifinals.
