UDHAMPUR, Nov 20: A senior citizen, Kumar Ajwani (61) today started his run from Kashmir to Kanayakumari (K2K) which was flagged off by office bearers of Jammu and Kashmir Ex-Services League Udhampur (JKESL), sponsored by Bank of Baroda (BOB) from here today.
The 4,444 kms run which will compete over 77 days for raising funds for two causes including supporting the rehabilitation of differently abled soldiers and education and upgrading tribal schools through team FAB Foundation.
During the run, which started from Udhampur to Jammu, many members of JKESL as well as students of f Buland CDO Academy also participated up to Jammu to boost the morale of Kumar Ajwani.
JKESL thanked Brig NK Khajuria (Retd) Defence Bank Advisor State of J&K (Bank of Baroda) for the coordination of the run.
Parwinder Singh, Zoya, Captain Balbir Singh Jamwal, Subedar Major Karnail Singh, Yub Raj Katoch, Sanjay Kumar, Bansi Lal, Subedar Gurdev Singh and Yash Paul Sharma owner of Buland CDO Academy were part of the run.
