Semis lineup drawn in Inter-Collegiate Volleyball Tournament

JAMMU, Oct 16: Semis position has been cleared in the Inter-Collegiate Volleyball (Women) Tournament, being organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu at University Volleyball courts.
Earlier in the quarterfinals, GCW, Parade beat GDC Hiranagar by (2-0) sets, GWC Gandhi Nagar defeated GDC RS Pura by (2-0) sets, GDC Mendhar drubbed GDC Udhampur by (2-0) sets and PG Department outplayed GDC, Jindrah by (2-0) sets.
The matches were officiated by Manik Nargotra, Amit Sharma, Naresh Kumar and Vikas Karlopia.
The Tournament 2018-19 is being conducted under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Meanwhile, the Inter-Collegiate Boxing (M) Championship 2018-19 commenced today in the Department of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu in which Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu was the chief guest.
About 100 boys drawn from 13 Colleges are taking part in this Championship.
Semifinals lineup has been drawn in the Championship and the matches for the last four stage will be played tomorrow.
The bouts were officiated by Sanjeev Singh Jamwal, Raj Singh, BSF, Gautam Sharma, Rohit Kumar, Sarafaraz, Harinder Pal Singh and Jai Bharat.
