Semis line up drawn in Football Gold Cup

KATHUA, June 18: Semifinals position has been cleared in the ongoing 2nd Football Gold Gup, being organized by Hiranagar Football Association at Sport stadium Hiranagar.
Hiranagar Football Club defeated Chandwan Football club by 8-1 in first Quarterfinal and sailed into semis, whereas in the second quarterfinal, Sungwali Mandi Football Club Samba smashed Football Club United Kathua by 4-1 and registered berth in the semis.
In third quarterfinal match, Param Football Club Jammu defeated Param Green Jammu by straight 3-0 goals and made it to semis, whereas in the fourth quarterfinal, Kelly Mandi Football Club thrashed Badori Football Club Bari Brahmana by solitary goal and entered into the semifinal of the tournament.
In the first semifinal, Hiranagar will take on Keeli Mandi Football Club on June 23 and second semifinal will be played between Sungwalli Mandi and Param Football club Jammu on June 24. The final match will be played on June 25 at same venue.
The winner of the tournament would get Rs 10,000 and a trophy, while runner up would get Rs 3,100 and a trophy and best player of the tournament would get Rs 1,100 and a trophy.
