Selection trials for 13th Senior National Pencak Silat C’ship on Apr 19

SRINAGAR, Apr 4: The Pencak Silat Association of J&K is set to conduct the Open Selection Trials for the 13th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship 2025-26 on April 19 at Indoor Hall Polo Ground, Srinagar. The trials are open to Men and Women athletes aged between 17 to 45 years. The championship itself will take place from May 9 to 12 at KD Babu Singh Indoor Stadium, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
To participate, athletes must submit a valid ID proof, recommendation from the district head, a parent declaration, a medical certificate, health & insurance certificates and two passport-sized photographs.
The organisers said District Pencak Silat Associations must confirm athlete entries prior to the trials. No boarding, lodging, or transportation will be provided. Athletes selected will undergo screening by the J&K Sports Council on April 21 followed by a 21-day coaching camp in Srinagar. For more details, contact 9797194893 or jksilat@gmail.com.
