JAMMU, Jan 22: The Indian Bodybuilding Federation (IBBF) has announced a selection trial for athletes aspiring to represent Jammu & Kashmir in various prestigious national-level bodybuilding and physique sports championships scheduled in 2026.
The trial will be organized under the banner of the J&K Sports Council and will take place on January 25, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at International Gym, Rehari Colony, Jammu.
The selection trial will be conducted to shortlist competitors for three major national events. These include the 16th Junior, Masters, Divyang, Men’s and Ladies Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2026 to be held at Bommakal, Karimnagar, Telangana, from February 7 to 8; the 15th Federation Cup Men’s Bodybuilding and Sports Physique, Women’s Model Physique and Fitness Physique Championship 2026 scheduled at Kolkata, West Bengal, from February 14 to 15 and the 17th Senior Men’s and Women’s Bodybuilding Championship 2026 to be held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from March 28 to 29.
Eligible athletes from across the Union Territory have been invited to participate in the trial. Participants must report on time with proper competition attire and valid identification and selection will be carried out strictly in accordance with IBBF rules and norms.
