JAMMU, Apr 15: Students of Government Model Higher Secondary School Muthi Domana-Bhawani Jamwal, Isha Bhagat and Damini Rajput-along with their coach Sanjay Sachdeva, participated in a seminar on the Korean martial art Taekkyon, organized under the aegis of the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) at the 13 Kumaon Regiment, Domana.
During the seminar, the students gave a demonstration and explained the historical and cultural significance of Taekkyon, a traditional Korean martial art known for its fluid movements and self-defence techniques. The program aimed to raise awareness among Army wives about the benefits of martial arts, particularly in promoting self-defence, discipline and cultural understanding.
