JAMMU, May 11: In the remembrance of Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s martyrdom day, Sports Meet was held in SBS Campus, Sohian Kalan, FGC Road Amritsar in Punjab.
In the opening ceremony, Barinderjit Singh, Principal of Women ITI, Beri Gate was the chief guest, while Managing Director, Alka Arora and Principal Manju Bala SBS Skills India Private ITI were present on the occasion.
The students participated in various games such as Volleyball, Cricket, Kho-Kho and Tug of War.
On the occasion, Principal SBS Degree College, Rocky Sharma awarded the winners with medals and trophies.
Among the winners, the students from Jammu and Kashmir bagged good number of medals and trophies.
Savita Sharma, Principal of GMC Nursing College Amritsar was the chief guest on the closing ceremony. She was honoured by Principal of SBS College of Nursing, Dr K Savithri and Principal SBS College of Pharmacy, Amrita Rana.
At the end of the Sports Meet, a play on Bhagat Singh and Bhangra was performed by the students.
