CHANDIGARH, Jan 22: SBI Inter Circle Basketball Tournament started with great enthusiasm at Basketball Indoor Stadium, Sports Complex, Sector 42 here today.
Seventeen teams from all Circles of the SBI are participating in the Tournament.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Krishan Kumar, Chief General Manager of SBI Chandigarh Circle as chief guest along with Sujit Kumar, General Manager – Network 2, Vimal Kishore, General Manager-Network 3 and other dignitaries.
The event began with march-past by the participating teams followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting by the chief guest, Krishan Kumar.
The ceremony also featured a stirring performance by Bhangra Team.
Opening game was held between Kolkata and Bengaluru teams with Bengaluru team emerging victorious.
A total of 10 matches were played on Day 1. Final match will be played on January 24, 2025.
