SAMBA, Aug 21: The Yoga Association of Jammu & Kashmir organized the Samba District Yogasports Championship 2025 at Sunlight High School, Utter Behani, with around 90 participants from various institutions. The event was inaugurated by local dignitaries. Paramjeet Singh, Principal of Govt. High School Utter Behani, was the chief guest and Rajinder Pangotra, Principal of Sunlight High School, was the guest of honour. They felicitated the winners with medals and certificates in the presence of Yoga Association members. The event was conducted under the supervision of Mukesh Sharma and Aryaaveer Singh, National Referee and Judges of the Yoga Federation of India.
In the 8-10 years category, Sonam Devi, Priyanshi Gupta and Ruhi Angral were among the winners, along with Saksham Damathia and Kamal Baloria. In 10-12 years, the top performers were Komal Bhagat, Afsa Chowdhary, Shreya Bhardwaj, Hitesh Pangotra, Akhil Sharma and Aryan. In the 12-14 years group, winners included Agya Bhagat, Vinayak Sharma, Manav Sharma and Manish Magotra. In 14-16 years, Vinod Kumar, Sumit Sharma, and Tanish Arora secured top positions, while in the 16-18 years category, Ayush Sharma, Anish Thappa and Mandeep Sharma were declared winners.
