JAMMU, June 16: The Sports Training Centre (STC) Jammu, under the aegis of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), held a felicitation ceremony to honour its outstanding athletes and welcome new inductees.
The event celebrated nine athletes who contributed to J&K’s gold medal win at the Khelo India Youth Games, seven Wushu athletes who won medals at international and national levels, a badminton player who secured a medal at the All India Inter-University Championship, and a basketball player selected for the Khelo India scholarship.
Rajeev Sharma, Member, Standing Committee of J&K Sports Council, was the chief guest. Other dignitaries included Sat Pal Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Arshi Nad, Manager Indoor Stadium, and Aman Sharma, High Performance Director and Incharge, STC Jammu.
