JAMMU, Dec 3: Sabre Army Pre Primary School, Ratnuchak celebrated its Annual Sports Day, here today. Commander Sabre Brigade was the chief guest on the occasion.
The event formally commenced with an administration of oath by prefect to all the participants, thus instilling a feeling of camaraderie among all children, followed by March Past.
Watching the students March ahead in perfect synchronization, was a treat to the eyes. Even the nursery children walked in perfect unison in the drill.
The sporting event comprised of Jalebi Race, Relay Race, Shape Race, Three Legged Race, Sack Race, Spider Race, Vegetable Vendor Race and Commando Race where participants exhibited full zeal and courage. This was followed by a dance performance by the little scholars. There was an enthralling performance by Karate Squad which left all present in complete awe.
In the end, the gifts were distributed among the children and those who got laurels in inter school and State Level “Budodas Karate Championship 2015-16” were felicitated by the chief guest.
