JAMMU, Apr 8: Defeating Youngster Cricket Club Simbal Camp by 7 wickets in the summit clash, Ranjeet Singh Cricket Club (RSCC) Chohalla won the title trophy of the 4th Kartar Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament at Govt Boys High School Simbal Camp, here.
Batting first, Youngster CC bundled out for paltry 54 runs in 11 overs. Shaun top scored with 31 runs. For RSCC, Chotu took 4 wickets.
In reply, RSCC chased the target in 9 overs by losing 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Chotu was the top scorer with 22 runs. He was adjudged s man of the match and man of the series for his consistent performance.
The winners were presented a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 3100, while the runners-up tem got a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 2100 by the chief guest, S mrik Singh Reen, Senior PDP leader and the guest of honour, Surinder Chowdhary, SDPO RS Pura.
The Tournament was organized by Harcharan Singh Bablu, JS Rajan.
