JAMMU, Dec 27: Royal Goodwill Cricket Club registered an emphatic 60-run victory over Game Changerz on Day 2 of the BIG Jammu Kashmir Premier League (JKPL) 2025-26 at the University of Jammu Ground, here today.
The Tournament is being organized by 92.7 BIG FM with HexaMed Diagnostics as the Title Partner, City University as the Powered By Partner, Kanwal Spices and Oxford Hospital as Associate Partners, JK Sports Time as the Live Streaming Partner, and Pepsi as the Beverage Partner.
After winning the toss, Game Changerz opted to field, allowing Royal Goodwill CC to bat first. Capitalizing on the opportunity, Royal Goodwill posted a formidable total of 206 runs.
In pursuit of the stiff target, Game Changerz struggled to build momentum and were bowled out for 146 runs. Royal Goodwill’s bowlers maintained disciplined lines and lengths, striking at regular intervals, while sharp fielding further restricted the chase.
Jahangir Lone was named Player of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance. He smashed a quick fire 50 off just 17 balls and also chipped in with a wicket.
The match was attended by SSP Jammu Joginder Singh as the chief guest. He noted that such tournaments provide a positive platform for youth and promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The encounter attracted a large turnout of cricket fans, creating a lively atmosphere at the venue. Among those present were Vikrant Sharma, Cluster Head – North, 92.7 BIG FM; RJ Juhie; Ahmer Ikhlaq; and Sahil Choudhary.
