Roll Ball Association members meet Advisor Khan

JAMMU, July 7: Members of J&K Roll Ball Association including Madhu Sharma and Sudhir Singh called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan in his Office Chamber at Civil Secretariat, here today.
They apprised the Advisor about the activities of the Association being undertaken at UT level from time to time as well as achievement of the teams being deputed by Association at the National and International levels.
The Advisor was also informed regarding apathy of the Roll Ball players who brought laurels for J&K by winning various medals at National and International levels but unfortunately, the game is still not recognized under SRO-349 benefits.
The Advisor gave patient hearing to their issues and assured them that he will look into the matters and take necessary steps to include the game under the SRO-349, so that medal winners get the benefits of the SRO.
