RKFC eyes comeback against Diamond Harbour FC

SRINAGAR, Apr 1: Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) is preparing for its second home game of the Indian Football League (IFL) season against Diamond Harbour FC (DHFC) tomorrow at TRC Ground, Srinagar. Owned by Arshad Shawl, RKFC is the only club from Jammu & Kashmir participating in the rebranded IFL this season.
The team comes into the match after a narrow 1-0 loss to Namdhari FC in their opening game. Despite the setback, head coach Ishfaq Ahmad remains confident. “Diamond Harbour FC has a strong squad and a capable coach. This is our second home game, and if we play to our strengths and stick to our plans, we have a good chance of securing a positive result,” he said.
RKFC features a blend of local, national, and international players, providing depth and versatility to the squad. Forward Kamal Issah also expressed optimism, stating that the team is focused on turning their fortunes around and appealing to fans to support the side in large numbers.
