Ritish emerges winner in Chess Tourney

JAMMU, Oct 19: Rajouri Chess Association today organized a chess tournament in the premises of Happy Home Higher Secondary School, Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri, in which Ritish Dev Singh emerged winner.
About 25 students from different schools and colleges participated in the tournament out of which Ritish Dev Singh got the first prize, Yashasvi Mahajan of Army Goodwill Public School got 2nd prize where as Yogeshwar Singh of Happy Home School bagged 3rd prize.
District Youth Services and Sports officer, Ayaz Khan was the chief guest while Chess Association president, Jameet Raj was the guest of honour.
While addressing the participants, the chief guest threw a light on the importance of games and sports and laid stress upon the students to devote some time to games and sports rather than being busy on social networking sites.
