JAMMU, Jan 5: Rhythm Mahajan scored magnificent 87 runs in a big victory registered by Stadium XI over Col RN Chopra Cricket Academy in a friendly match organized at the Academy ground, here today.
Earlier, batting first, young side of Col RN Chopra Academy scored a decent total of 158 runs in the stipulated 30 overs. Agrinay was the top scorer with 43 runs off 47 balls, studded with 4 fours and one six, while Sarthak Peshin contributed valuable 39 runs with the help of 5 delectable boundaries and 2 sixes. Harsh Dev Singh also chipped in with 25 runs including 5 boundaries. For Stadium XI, Yogesh and skipper Sanchit Dass claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Stadium XI, Stadium XI chased the target easily by losing 2 wickets to win the match by 8 wickets. Rhythm Mahajan top scored with 87 runs off 84 balls, studded with 18 crispy boundaries, while Sanchit Dass contributed unbeaten 21 runs off 23 balls, hitting 2 boundaries and Kanahya chipped in with 13 runs off 50 balls with the help of 2 boundaries. For Col RN Chopra Academy, Maratvan bagged one wicket.
