Rehmal, Teg win gold in Kathua District Indian Style Wrestling C’ship

KATHUA, Dec 6: Rehmal Ali and Teg Ali won the titles to clinch gold in 46 kg and 51 kg respectively in Kathua District Indian Style Senior Wrestling Championship, organized by J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Datti Bachno Devi, Babblian, here today.
Over 50 wrestlers participated in the event, which was supervised by Bansi Lal Tidyal, general secretary of the Association as observer and Mulkh Raj Sharma as Director Competition.
The bouts were officiated by Physical Education Master Kuldeep Singh and Punjab Singh.
In 46 kg, Rehmal Ali clinched gold, Shattu bagged silver, while the bronze medal was shared by Talib Hussain and Bagh Hussain.
In 51 kg, Teg Ali won gold, while Talib Hussain clinched silver. The bronze medal went to Zakir Hussain and Shubam, while in 57, 61, 67 and 86 kgs, the gold medals were bagged by Noor Illahi, Teg Ali, Kamal and Rahul Kumar respectively.
