*Departmental Officers, Field Officer convene healthy meetings

JAMMU, Nov 15: The registration and the weighing of the players was in full swing at the Control Room for the 67th National School Games (Judo) and at the venue of the events respectively, here today.
According to the Field Officer of 67th National School Games in Judo deputed by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), Kanhiya Gurjar the players and officials from 30 States/UTs/Units have been registered on SGFI Website today.
“A total of 387 players have been registered including 197 boys and 190 girls,” Kanhiya said. He later-on convened a meeting of Technical Officials and Liaison Officers of various committees and shared his experience of conducting mega sporting events in a simplest way. He advised them to work as a cohesive unit, which he said is the ‘mantra’ to success. While praising various committees for their good show, Kanhiya had special praise for the Liaison Committee and Control Room, especially for their Conveners.
Meanwhile, the officers of the Department including, Jitender Mishra, Suram Chand Sharma, Ravi Kumar Sharma and the officials of the Activities Section visited the venue of the events and the lodging centres and took stock of the arrangements. Two separate messages received from the President of School Games Federation of India (SGFI), Deepak Kumar and the Director Youth Services and Sports, Subash Chander Chibber have boosted morale of the budding Judokas. In a motivational and encouraging message, President SGFI while wishing the players good luck has advised them to preserve the sanctity and spirit of sports during the event.
