Srinagar, Jan 19: Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) secured a dominant 3-1 victory over Sporting Club Bengaluru in an exciting I-League match at the TRC Ground, Srinagar, here today. The win marked a return to winning form for RKFC on home soil, as they entertained a crowd of over 5,000 spectators, braving the cold weather.
The match was graced by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin, who attended as the chief guest. RKFC owner Arshad Shawl thanked Dr. Mohiuddin for his unwavering support, which greatly motivated the team.
Brazilian striker Paulo Cezar was the star of the match, scoring two goals (28′ and 55′), while Senegalese forward Abdou Karim sealed the win with a penalty. SC Bengaluru’s Henry Kisseka netted a late goal, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
