Ratanpuri elected president IBHF

JAMMU, Feb 4: Member Rajya Sabha, GN Ratanpuri was elected president of Indian Ball Hockey Federation in its Annual General Meeting at New Delhi, recently.
Waseem Raja was unanimously elected as secretary general of the Federation.
It is for the first time that any National Sports Federation has its president and secretary general from Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the Federation has chalked out its calendar of activities for the year 2012-13 and 2013-14.
The others members from Jammu and Kashmir who were present in the meeting were Sheikh Mehraj, Ajay Sharma and Hilal Khan.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of GN Ratanpuri.
