Rajouri premier league gets underway

Rajouri, Feb13: Rajouri Premier League on the analogy of IPL organized by Friends Cricket Club Rajouri commenced here today.
This event is a unique initiative undertaken by the youth of Rajouri under the leadership of Shafqat Mir, Senior NC Leader with a objective to involve the younger generation in sports and other constructive fields keep them away from drug abuse, use of narcotics and violent activities.
The inaugural ceremony which was held in District Police Line Rajouri was thrown open by DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, Danish Raina who was accompanied by SSP Rajouri, Mubashier Latefi and Dr JA Qazi, Principal Govt Degree College Rajouri.
The organizing committee included Zahoor Bhat, Mohinder Singh, Sanjeev Honda, Rashid Bhat, Tariq Bhat, Danizh Zari, Naveed Mir, Mushtaq Bhat, Asif Bhat, Sonu Bhat and Sahil
24 Teams from across the State are participating in this Tournament.
