RAJOURI, Aug 9: According to a handout issued by the Volleyball Association of J&K (VAJK), new office bearers have been elected for the Rajouri District Volleyball Association for the term 2025-2029.
The elections were held at Community Hall, Chackjaralan, Bognoti, Rajouri, under the supervision of Parithvi Raj Sudan as Returning Officer and Kuldip Magotra, CEO VAJK, as Observer.
The newly elected office bearers include Sujad Majeed (President), Tasabaq Hussain, Sachin Raina and Anwar-ul-Haq (Vice Presidents), Noval Sharma (Secretary), Aquib Ahmad (Treasurer), Jamrood Singh, Ekjyot Singh and Aftab Azam (Joint Secretaries). Executive Members elected are Shoib Akhter, Shabir Hussain, Kunal and Utsav Sharma.
The handout further informed that Mohd Tariq Khan, Joint Secretary VAJK and in-charge of Rajouri district, has been relieved of his duties. The new body has pledged to promote Volleyball actively across the Rajouri district.
