U-23 Boys One Day Tournament

Jammu, Feb 13: Punjab thrashed Jammu and Kashmir by 9 wickets in an easy contest of the ongoing Under-23 Boys One Day Tournament at KL Saini Stadium, Jaipur today.
Earlier, put into bat, Jammu and Kashmir managed to score 184 runs in 48.3 overs. Paras Sharma top scored with 37 runs, while Muneeb Munaf, Auqib Nabi, Abhishant Bakshi and Abid Mushtaq contributed 36, 32, 30 and 23 runs to the total respectively. From Punjab, Arshdeep Singh and Ikjot Singh bagged 3 wickets each, while Nikhil Choudhary took 2 wickets. Abhinav Sharma also claimed one wicket.
In reply, Punjab chased the target easily in 34 overs by losing 1 wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Shivam Bhambri and Sanvir Singh scored 81 runs each, while Abhishek Sharma contributed 17 runs to the total. From J&K, Auqib Nabi claimed the lone wicket to fall.
